2019年6月，Revit的早起投资人Arol Wolford曾经带着他新产品VIM在ShanghaiBIM组织的活动中亮相，近两年过去了，VIM逐渐趋向成熟，可以秒开导入的几百G的Revit文件，足以为大型BIM项目的交互提供快捷解决方案，便于项目参与方快速做出更好的决策。

本月30日晚，我们将举办今年首次的线下例会，Arol Wolford将从硅谷与我们连线，来分享他对BIM行业未来发展的见解。此外沪汉咨询的李建学和徐淼先生将介绍近期在上海BIM项目实施过程中新工具的应用，包括上述提到的VIM AEC，一款通过可视化和数据分析来促进建筑设计施工各专业协作的三维交互式工具，以及其在增强现实（AR）设备Magic Leap中的应用。杜海柱将介绍三维激光扫描在改造项目中的应用。

来现场的参与者可以近距离来体验VIM以及Magic Leap.

Arol will share his insights on the future of BIM. Ken and Abel will share their experience on the applications of new tools in their recent BIM practices in Shanghai, including VIM AEC, a suite of tools facilitating collaborations for the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, through visualization, data analytics and collaborations, and VIM AEC’s application in Magic Leap, a leading augmented reality device. Haizhu will introduce 3D laser scanning’s applications in remodeling projects.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience VIM AEC and Magic Leap at the event.
