以保护地球和保护动物为主题的艺术品范围太大了，反而像没有主题？非也。只要细心看一下作品年表，就能得知，艺术家陈紫君是从自身经历出发，一步一个脚印把她的

一开始她以留学生的情怀，用油画笔描绘留学之地苏格兰的自然风景。人在一个地方学习工作生活久了，产生感情，这很自然，也很好理解。接着，她创作出“天空”系列。虽然灵感仍然来源于苏格兰，但她选择了绚丽多彩的天空，不仅有温暖和煦的阳光和变化多端的云朵，还有她在苏格兰看到的北极光—— 一种珍贵的，几乎每个人都向往但不是每个人都能轻易见到的，变化莫测的神秘光芒。进而，她又发展出的“极光启示”系列，更带有对“全球暖化”的关心和人类不分差异地“保护地球”之丰富内涵。然后，她又创作了“繁星”系列，从与前两个系列视角完全相反的太空，回看地球，逐步引出对我们生活的家园从审视，到赞美，再到珍惜。

2016年，她怀着对少了一只耳朵的宠物之爱，开始尝试水墨“动物”系列，并在年底的水墨艺博会上首度发表此系列作品，引起媒体与藏家们的注意。次年，更凭此系列作品首次获得拍卖记录。充满爱心的她，很快创作出更多可爱的小动物，也就是水墨动物之“家庭”、“抽象”、“城市”和“独角兽”系列。在最新的水墨“世界之爱”系列中，既提倡“爱地球、爱动物”，也提到素食主义，总之，是一个提倡人类与大自然及动物间和谐共处的系列。到此，呼应她的油画作品主题。

必须承认，我从前对她的水墨动物作品有所保留。可是，当看到越来越多藏家，带着喜乐的心情收藏这些作品，而这种喜悦还会传递给家人后，我开始反思——能由心而发让人产生共鸣的作品，难道不是好作品吗？

这是继广州个展后，陈紫君小姐在内地的第二个个展。她以水墨动物为蓝本创作出的最新丙烯动物系列，将首次发表。本次展览囊括她的油画和丙烯画作品。可以说，没有当年的写实苏格兰风景为基础，不会有转变的开始——“天空”系列，更不会有延伸与进化而来的“极光启示”系列。说赋予了小动物们纷繁多姿主题的，是苏格兰天空上曼妙多变的北极光，一点不为过吧？于是有《从北极光奔出的小动物》此一标题。

Aurora Originates Little Animals

The range of artworks on the theme of protecting the earth and animals may seem too big. This can result in the core theme being lost unless you carefully look at the chronology of the works. You can then see that the artist TK CHAN took her own experiences and step by step integrated her personal feelings and ideas into evolving her works.

At the beginning, she used the oil brush to depict the natural scenery of Scotland by the emotion of a student studying abroad. It is natural and well understood that a human being can develop feelings for the places where she studied, worked and lived for a long time.  She then created the "Sky" series. Although the inspiration still came from Scotland, she chose the colorful sky, not only with warm and hazy sunshine and changing clouds, but also the aurora she saw in Scotland - a precious, unpredictable mysterious light, which almost everyone longs for but not everyone is lucky enough to experience.  In addition, she developed the "Aurora Revelation" series, with the concern of "global warming" and the rich connotation of "protecting the earth" regardless of human differences. And then, she created the "Starry" series, looking back to at earth from space, a unique contrasting perspective to the former two series. Gradually eliciting the views of our living home from something to observe, to something to praise, and finally to be something we should cherish.

In 2016, she began to try the ink "animal" series inspired by the love for her pet,  who had one ear missing. She first published this series at the Ink Asia art fair at the end of that same year, which attracted the attention of the media and collectors. During the following year, her first auction record was obtained by this series of works. She, full of love, soon created more cute little animals, which became the series of “Family”, “Abstract”, “City” and “Unicorn” ink animals. In the latest ink "World of Love" series, it advocates "love the earth, love animals", and also mentions vegetarianism. In short, it is a series that promotes harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature and animals. At this point, it echoes the theme of her oil paintings.

I must admit that I had ever had reservations about her ink animals. However, after seeing more and more collectors collecting these works with joy, and the joy being passed on to their family members, I started to rethink "if the artworks  can easily resonate with people, aren't they good works?"

This is Miss TK CHAN's second solo exhibition in mainland China after Guangzhou solo exhibition. Based on the ink animals, her latest acrylic animal series will be published for the first time. This exhibition includes her oil paintings and acrylic paintings. It can be said that without the realistic Scottish landscape in those years, there would be no beginning of transformation into - the "Sky" series, and there will be no more "Aurora Revelation" series which was extended and evolved from "Sky". Its no exaggeration to say that it is the graceful and changeable aurora of the Scottish sky that inspires so many different kinds of themes to the animals. So there is the title "Aurora Originates Little Animals".
