8月16日，“2018哥大中国之夏”将举办哥大全球夏季语言项目学生分享会。本次招待会上，哥伦比亚大学东亚语言和文化教授、中文课程主任刘乐宁教授和哥伦比亚大学优秀在读本科生Evan Streams将受邀出席。
本场活动仅对CIB项目学生开放，现场将提供小食和饮品，欢迎各位同学的参与。
On August 16, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invites you to a reception for Columbia University’s Summer Language Program in Beijing. Professor Lening Liu, Professor of East Asian Languages and Cultures and Director of the Chinese Language Program, and Evan Streams who currently studies at Columbia University as an undergraduate student, will be invited to deliver speeches.
The event opens to CIB students only. Food and beverage will be provided.

刘乐宁 Lening Liu
刘乐宁教授是哥伦比亚大学东亚语言和文化教授、哥伦比亚大学孔子学院中文教育主任。此外他还担任哥伦比亚大学中文课程主任、TCSOL项目主任。刘乐宁教授的研究方向主要是历史句法学，话语语法学及中文教学法。他以中文中连接副词的演变，中文修辞结构，中文教学法的历史和创新等内容为主题发表过多篇论文。
Professor Lening Liu is Professor of East Asian Languages and Cultures and Confucius Institute Director of Chinese Language Pedagogy. He also directs the Chinese Language Program and serves as the co-director of the Certificate Program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
Evan Streams
2014年起，Evan一直往来于中美学习、生活。在此期间，他筹办中国高中生美式辩论联赛，担任中国青年商业挑战赛项目主任，并帮助创建了哥大青年学者项目和中国中学生演讲比赛。他还是一本中英双语辩论教材的作者，这本教材在中国和美国广泛使用。他现在在美国道尔顿学院担任辩论教练，并在哥伦比亚大学攻读学士学位。他喜欢哲学和漫画。
Evan has been visiting or living in China since 2014. In that time he was manager of the National High Schools Debate League of China, Director of the China Youth Business League, and also helped create the Columbia Young Scholars Program and a speech competition for Chinese middle school students. He is also the author of a bilingual debate textbook used in both the US and China. He now coaches debate at The Dalton School and studies at Columbia University. His interests include philosophy and comics.
