About Curators

胡斌（1978年出生於湖南長沙，現工作和生活於中國廣州）本科、碩士畢業於廣州美術學院美術史系，博士畢業於中國藝術研究院，曾在廣東美術館編輯部、三年展辦公室、廣州美術學院美術史系工作，現為廣州美術學院美術館副館長，藝術管理學系教授。

HU Bin (b. 1978, Changsha; works and lives in Guangzhou) obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Department of Art History at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and received a doctoral degree  from the  Chinese National Academy of Arts. He has worked in the editorial office and Guangzhou Triennial office of the Guangdong Museum of Art and in the Department of Art History at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He is now the deputy director of the Art Museum of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and a professor in the Department of Arts Management.  

武漠是一位生活在香港的寫作者、策展人。她在中央美術學院藝術管理系獲得碩士學院，目前為香港中文大學藝術系博士候選人。她的研究興趣集中在1980年代以來的中國當代藝術及策展實踐。她的寫作見載於多種期刊與出版物，包括《藝術新聞（中文版）》，《藝術界》，藝術論壇中文網，《藝術：典藏（國際版）》，《燃點》等。作為策展人，她近期的策展項目包括《世變》（Para／Site，香港，中國，2016）《意變形隨》（1a Space，香港，中國，2017）等

Wu Mo is a writer and curator based in Hong Kong. She received her master’s degree in Art Administration at The Central Academy of Fine Arts . She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her dissertation research focuses on contemporary Chinese art and curatorial practice since the 1980s. Her writings have appeared in a number of publications and magazines, and she is a contributing writer for The Art Newspaper China, LEAP, Artforum.com.cn, Yishu: Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art, and Randian, among others. She has recently curated That Has Been, and May Be Again (Para/Site, Hong Kong, 2016) and Ways of Surviving through Accelerated Mindfulness (1a Space, Hong Kong, 2017).

About Speakers

陳丹笛子1990年生，2007年到廣州學習和生活至今。 2015年，她於廣州美術學院油畫系獲學士學位。創作涉及錄像、裝置、攝影以及文學。她的作品中不乏疏離的人類情感體驗，運用趨於冷色、晦暗的基調，試圖傳達當下都市生活中某種個體的孤獨情感。經典的電影和文學作品也是其創作的重要靈感。近年個展/雙個展有：浮生與手記（膠囊上海，上海，2016）、最大膽冒險者（廣東當代藝術中心實驗空間，廣州，2016）、討詞語的詩人（騰挪空間，廣州，2014）；曾參加的群展和藝術節包括：逆光：雙城取樣（楊鋒藝術與教育基金會，深圳，2017）、當代繆斯（Modern Art Base，上海，2017）、第二屆女性藝術家錄像藝術節（墨西哥國家文化數字中心和克雷塔羅市博物館，墨西哥，2017）OCAT 放映：「畫內音」（曹斐策劃，OCAT深圳圖書館，深圳，2016）、僅僅在場（廣州畫廊，廣州，2016）、城市原點：共享之屋——深港城市/建築雙城雙年展（龍崗西埔世居，深圳，2015）、新視覺藝術節——窺視……放大！（OCAT深圳華僑城創意文化園，深圳，2015）、中國女性藝術家錄像藝術節（墨西哥國家文化數字中心，墨西哥阿斯卡波察爾科，2015）及「今天——在通往未來的途中」（騎樓藝術中心，海口，2015）等。 

CHEN Dandizi Born in 1990. Since 2007, she has been living in Guangzhou. Chen received her BA degree from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (Guangzhou, China) in 2015. Her practice includes video, installation, photography, and literature. There are always alienated emotional experiences expressed in her works. Through the use of cool colors and gloomy tones, she tries to reveal the loneliness of individuals in our current urban life. Classical films and literary works are an important inspiration for her.

Chen’s recent solo/two-person exhibitions have been presented include: Fleeting Memories and Written Notes ,(Capsule Shanghai, Shanghai, 2016), The Most Daring Venture ,(Guangdong Contemporary Art Centre, Guangzhou, 2016), A Poet Who Begs for Words, (Sabaki Space, Guangzhou, 2014);The exhibitions and she once participated include: Against the Light: Sampling in Two Cities, (FY Foundation, Shenzhen, 2017), The Modern Look (Part I), (Modern Art Base, Shanghai,2017), 2nd Chinese Video Artists Festival, (Mexico national culture Digital Centre and Queretaro City Museum, Mexico, 2017), OCAT Screens: “Rhythm Analysis”, (organized by Cao Fei, OCAT Shenzhen Library, Shenzhen, 2016), Mere Existence, (Canton Gallery, Guangzhou, 2016), Re-Living the City (Affiliated exhibition: Co-Living) —Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, (Xipu new residence in Longgang district, Shenzhen, 2015), Fresh Vision 2015 Spy…Magnify! , (OCAT, Shenzhen, 2015), Chinese Video Artists Festival, (Mexico national culture Digital Centre, Mexico, 2015) and “Today—On the way to the future”, ( Arcade Art Center, Haikou, 2015), etc.

馮火（2013年創立于中國廣州）是一份月刊雜誌的名字，團隊共有五位成員。馮偉敬是雜誌出品人和主編；朱建林負責雜誌的廣告和推廣；BUBU負責印刷及外聯；歐飛鴻是馮火的勞務派遣；史鎮豪是形象大使。馮火雜誌以“大眾讀物”的姿態，收集藝術家的創作。每月21號出版，在不同城市共有十七個銷售點，每本售價1元；每期附有三頁廣告，每個廣告頁面售價50元。通過廣告的收入維繫馮火月刊的持續運營。馮火一貫風格是：勁、好商量、識事、好相處、飛、勻巡、心水清、分真、愛地球、勤力、有口齒及好人。近期個展包括：《馮火影視城》（泰康空間，北京，中國，2017）、《我叫阿史》（OCAT西安館，西安，中國，2015）。群展有：《都市折疊》（央美術館，北京，中國，2017）、《畫內音》（OCAT深圳館，深圳，中國，2016）、《榕樹頭旅行社》（廣東時代美術館，廣州，中國，2016）、《場域的毛細管》（廣州美術學院美術館，廣州，中國，2016）等。

FONG Fo (b. 2013, Guangzhou; lives and works in Guangzhou) is the name of a monthly magazine which was born in March 2013. FENG Weijing is its producer and editor-in-chief. ZHU Jianlin is responsible for its advertisement and public relations. BuBu is in charge of printing and communications. OU Feihong is FONG Fo’s labor dispatch and SHI Zhenghao is its image ambassador. Fong Fo presents artists’ creations through being a popular magazine. It is published on the 21^st each month. There are 17 points of sale in different cities and the price of magazine is ￥1 each. Every month there are three pages of advertisements in the magazine and each advertisement sells at ￥50. The income from advertisements sustain Fong Fo’s operation. The spirits of Fong Fo are: kickass, democratic, savvy, easy-going, free, fair, sensible, earth-loving, hard-working, reliable, decent. FONG Fo's solo exhibitions include FongFo Film City (Taikang Space, Beijing, China, 2017) and Call Me Arthistory (OCAT, Xi’an, China, 2017). Group exhibitions include Rebel Cities (Yam Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2017), Rhythm-Analysis (OCAT, Shenzhen,  China, 2016), Banyan Travel Agency (Guangdong Times Museum, Guangzhou, China, 2016), and Capillaries of the Field (Art Museum of GAFA, Guangzhou, China, 2016). 

鄧國騫（1983年出生於香港，現工作和居住於中國香港）是一位元混合媒介藝術家，香港中文大學藝術碩士。其創作路途始于對其原居民背景不間斷的追問，繼而發展出對存在本義及親密式美學的探討。此思考體現於其作品，他淡化藝術和生活的界線，通過融和創作及人類種種矛盾意圖展現本質性。他時常挪用和重構日常與個人文本以講述隱伏生活的故事，如觸及成長、承傳、自由、資本主義、消費主義、自然、政治、規範等，透露出對人事物的關懷。曾參與第15屆威尼斯建築雙年展、第15屆波蘭媒體藝術雙年展、2009年香港當代藝術雙年獎等，亦曾於美國邁亞密冰宮、德國奧斯特豪斯博物館、英國曼徹斯特華人藝術中心等展覽。2009年獲香港當代藝術雙年獎優秀獎，亦為2013年亞洲文化協會獎助金得主。

TANG Kwok Hin (b. 1983, Hong Kong; works and lives in Hong Kong) is a mixed media artist who holds a Master of Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Tang begins the artistic path fromcontinuous queries into his native background; from this, he soon developed exploration towards the origins of existence and intimate aesthetics. The seconcerns are reflected in his works. He blurs the bound aries between art and life by integrating creation with the conflicts of humankind, which reveals in trinsic values. He often appropriates and reconstructs daily and personal contexts to narrate hidden stories in life, dealing with growth, inheritance, freedom, capitalism, consumerism, nature, politics, norms, etc., to express concern towards humans and their surroundings.

He previously participated in Ia Biennale di Venezia: 15^th International Architecture Exhibition at the Hong Kong Pavilion, 15^th WRO Media Art Biennale, Hong Kong Contemporary Biennial Award 2009, etc.; He has also exhibited at Ice Palace, Miami, U.S.A.; Osthaus Museum, Hagen, Germany; and the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art, among others. He was the first prize winner of the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Award 2009 and a 2013 Asian Cultural Council grantee. 

黎卓華 (1983年出生於香港，現工作和生活於中國香港)，於2007年獲得香港中文大學藝術系學士學位，現就讀香港中文大學藝術系碩士課程。近期個展包括：《讓晚風送走昨日的夢》（剩餘空間，武漢，中國，2017）、《停滯之中》（Para/Site，巴塞爾香港藝術展，香港，中國，2015）等。群展包括：《From Ocean to Horizon》（華人藝術中心, 曼徹斯特，英國，2017）、《不隅之見》(第五屆三亞藝術季，三亞，中國，2016) 和《第二屆CAFAM未來展》（中央美術學院美術館，北京，中國，2015）等。

Sarah, LAI Cheuk Wah (b. 1983, Hong Kong; lives and works in Hong Kong) obtained her BA in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2007 and is currently an MFA degree candidate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her recent solo exhibitions include Let the night breeze send away yesterday’s dreams (Surplus Space, Wuhan, China, 2017), In Stasis (Para/Site, Art Basel, Hong Kong, China, 2015), among others. Group exhibitions include From Ocean to Horizon (Centrefor Chinese Contemporary Art, Manchester, UK, 2017), Inception (The Fifth Art Sanya, Sanya, China, 2016)and The 2^nd “CAFAM Future” Exhibition (CAFA Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2015).
